FAQs

  • I am a fairly quick painter so it will depend on the size of the artwork and how specifically you fill out your art form. A small 5in x 5 in can take between 1-3 days while a 20in x 20in in could take 3-4 weeks!

  • Yes, references are preferred if you want a portrait of a pet or person. I am happy to come and take my own references as well depending on how far from you I am.

  • I prefer to not do corrections/revisions/redo’s. I will do my best to ensure all the details that you want are included in the photo in the initial discussion that we have. I will send you a sketch or watermarked photo of my work before I send it to you. If a revision is absolutely needed, I will send you a quote for payment to fix major issues.

  • Subject matter is at my preference. I will not paint violent, offensive, or subject matters that I deem to be inappropriate. I will let you know of this before the art contract is signed.

  • I use a plethora of art brands but the main one is Liquitex, I have found the color fastness to be long lasting and overall this brand is good quality. I also use Liquitex brand primers, gesso, and varnish.

  • I specialize in portraits of people and pets but would be willing to branch out. I am not so good at landscapes so it would depend on the subject. I am always willing to try something new!

  • My favorite material right now is pine wood - panel. My paintings are mounted with a home-made hook and wire set up. I also can do cloth canvases that are 3D.

  • I currently do not provide frames for my work. I prefer to work with 3D wood panels as they look nice on the wall by themselves. On all 3D wood panels, I will install a wire mount. If you choose to order a piece on flat paper or flat canvas, you will need to find a vendor to have it framed as that is not currently in my wheel house (but maybe in the future if it becomes necessary!).

  • It greatly will depend on how far from me that you are. If it’s easier for me to drive over and drop it off then I’m happy to do so. This will be handled case by case and I will have more information on the contract!
